Biography
As of October 2011, sports scientist Erich Müller is the Vice Rector of Academic Affairs. Additionally, he is responsible for the Inter-faculty Departments and IT Services. A native of Vorarlberg, Dr. Müller studied Sports Science and English Language and Literature at the University of Innsbruck. In 1993, he became an Associate Professor at the University of Salzburg and in 1995 became the Head of the Department of Sport and Exercise Science / University of Sport Science at the University of Salzburg. Dr. Müller will continue to act as Head of the Department of Sport and Exercise Science and the Christian Doppler Laboratory Biomechanics in Skiing, in which he collaborates with the company, Atomic.
