PLUS Green Campus is the Sustainability Initiative of the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg (PLUS). The objective of this project is to transform our university step by step into a "green" university that includes all aspects of university life. A modern understanding of sustainability encompasses three key areas: people, nature, and economy, that together when balanced, will benefit all partners.
Sustainability is actually quite simple; one only has to think differently. The change towards a sustainable university should not be accomplished through the abandonment of or moral hypocrisy against the existing reality; rather, PLUS Green Campus invites all members of the University to go along new paths and to demonstrate innovative alternatives.
