The enrolment for the winter semester 2020/21 will start on July 13th, 2020 at the Office of Admissions. The personal enrolment and access to the Office is generally only possible with:

  • A confirmation of appointment (first semester students print out the final page of the online pre-registration)
  • A protective face mask
  • Required original certificates and documents

The team of the Office of Admissions can be reached via e-mail (studium(at)sbg.ac.at). We answer all your requests and questions as soon as possible. If a personal consulting service is absolutely necessary, please make an individual appointment via e-mail.

    Salzburg biologists Anja Hörger and Stephanie Socher receive 150,000 Euros in funding for their courageous project idea within the framework of the new “1000 ideas program” from the Austrian Science Fund FWF. Over the next two years the young scientists “Immortal Titans”, will analyze the huge genome of the Titan Arum, the largest flower in the world. The “1000 Ideas Programme” is intended to support high-risk research in order to increase Austria's innovative strength.

    150 participants have already taken the opportunity to register for more than 50 courses on IT and digitialisation at the ditact_women's IT summer studies at the University of Salzburg, which will take place from the 01.09.-12.09.2020.Registration is still possible until the 12. July and then the remaining places will be taken as last minute reservations.
