when citizens participage in the scientific process

Welcome to Citizen Science!

Various opinions and communication is required for the „big topics“ of our society – Citizen Science – the engagement of the community in science.

The University of Salzburg sees a great potential for projects which bring together citizens with science. It is a great objective for the University to build a bridge between the academic world and society.

Inspiration, Communication & Discussion are our key points.

The team of „Citizen Science“ helps with the communication between interested citizens and dedicated researchers.

You are interested in participating in a citizen science project and would like to share your knowledge with other amateur and professional scientists?

Or you are looking for students or citizen who could participate in your science project?

Please send us an email! We would be happy to hear from your ideas for citizen science projects.
