Public Transport  

By Bus: Take the O-bus number 6 from the city centre (Theatergasse/Mirabellplatz) or from the main Salzburg train station (Hauptbahnhof) in the direction of Itzling until the bus-stop Salzburg Itzling Science City. See the local timetable on: https://salzburg-verkehr.at/

By Train: Travel to the Salzburg main train station (Hauptbahnhof Salzburg) and catch the O-Bus number 6 from just outside the train station in the direction Itzling until the bus-stop Salzburg Itzling Science City

By Plane: arriving at the W.A. Mozart Airport Salzburg. Take the O-Bus number 2 until the main train station (Hauptbahnhof Salzburg), change to the O-Bus number 6 in the direction of Itzling until the bus-stop Salzburg Itzling Science City

By Car

Coming from the A1 Autobahn: At the Autobahn exchange Nord, turn right in the direction of Itzling/MariaPlain, following the Salzburger Straße, Bahnhofstraße, Kirchenstraße, Itzlinger Hauptstraße, Austraße, Rosa-Kerschbaumer-Straße to Jakob Haringer Straße. Follow the green signs leading to Techno-Z. On the left is a Hofer supermarket turn left into Jakob-Haringer-Straße einbiegen.

Coming from Salzburg city centre: From the Schwarzstraße go straight to the Haunspergstraße. After the company Hectas (on the right) turn right into the second street (Sylvester-Oberberger-Straße) and then left into Plainstraße. Follow Plainstraße across the railway tracks and turn left into the Rosa-Kerschbaumer-Straße. Follow this road and before the Hofer supermarket turn right into Jakob-Haringer-Straße. A guest carpark can be found at the end of the road.

    The 6th annual conference on 6.migration and integration research in Austria took place from the 16 to 18 September at the der University of Salzburg – partly in person, partly online. A resolution for the reception of refugees from Moria was approved.
    As part of its profile „Räume und Identitäten (Spaces and Identities)“ the third annual conference was held on the 30th January 2020 at the Department of Public, International and European Law at the University of Salzburg. The conference with the title „Lebensende in Institutionen ( End of Life in Institutions)" raised a controversial social issue.
    Applications for two dissertation prizes (worth 2,000 euros each) can be made until the 31st October.
    This semester from the 28.09.2020 personal registration for USI courses will not be possible in order to avoid unnecessary crowds of people.
    The Armenian religous anthropologist Dr. Yulia Antonyan (Jerevan State University) and the Austrian Armenologist and Head of the ZECO Centre for the Study of the Christian East, Univ.Doz.Dr.Dr.h.c. Jasmine Dum-Tragut Bakk.rer.nat., are among the winners of an international research competition in Armenia.
