Euraxess – Researchers in Motion

The EURAXESS network addresses researchers of all ages and career levels and offers information on legal, cultural and administrative matters and the research landscapes of different European countries. Key areas of EURAXESS include:

  • EURAXESS Services: supporting researchers and their families in organizing research stays abroad

  • EURAXESS Rights: (European Charter for Researchers & Code of Conduct for their Recruitment) addressing the rights and obligations of researchers and their employers.


EURAXESS Austria is part of the Europe-wide initiative EURAXESS – Researchers in Motion and focuses on possibilities of fostering the mobility and career opportunities of researchers at PhD level and higher.     The Salzburg Armenologist, Jasmine Dum-Tragut, opens the first exhibition on 31 August, 2019, at the Genocide Museum in Yerevan. The exhibition shows the fate of Armenian prisoners of war in the Austrian prison camps during the First World War.
    Democracy and the rule of law seem to have experienced better times in Europe. The recent developments in many countries point to a dismantling of the rule of law, fundamental rights and democracy.
