Univ.-Prof. Dr. Fatima Ferreira heads the Christian Doppler Laboratory for Allergy Diagnosis and Therapy. In 2008 she was honored by the Club of Education and Science Journalists as Scientist of the Year. The scientific concentration of Ferreira-Briza’s work lies in the research and development of new diagnostic possibilities of allergies and innovative therapeutic approaches.

Eunike Grahofer is dedicated to the documentation and study of the folkloristic plant knowledge, ethnobotany. She is author, owner of "Eunike Grahofers ‘nature shop’, conducts seminars and lectures on the topic "Knowledge of plants and the folks", working in various research groups & plants projects.

She is a deputy chairwoman of Vereins Naturvermittlung, where she also heads a working group to plant exploration, writes in various print media, holds radio broadcasts, is an expert of "einfachessbar.org" and the prize winner of Uniko and Ö1 for innovation projects, 2015.

He works at the ORF regional studio Salzburg and as manager of the Editorial Board for journalism education and at various academic institutions: Department of Communication Sciences, University of Salzburg, Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, Danube University Krems. Work focuses are on the transformation of traditional journalism in the digital age and the future of media.

Head of the Center for Human Computer Interaction. Univ-Prof. Dr. Manfred Tscheligi is an internationally recognized scientist in the field of human computer interaction and user experience research. He is a recognized speaker at conferences, workshops, tutorials and seminars, and author of numerous publications. He holds a wide range of research and industrial projects and is significantly involved and responsible in the Development of this research area. Prof. Tscheligi is a member of several national and international expert committees and conference committees (eg CHI conference series, Mobil HCI conference series, human-robot interaction conference series). His work is primarily based on the interdisciplinary synergy of different areas in regards to enriching interaction between people and systems.

The love for nature is a life symbol of the scientist, specialist book author, nature film director and exhibition designer. Dr. Winding's scientific work is extensive. His main studies were the ecology and adaptations of vertebrate animals, especially of high mountain birds. He carried out research in the Alps and the Himalayas. The latter also created a commitment to development cooperation in Nepal.
