    Diesjährige Gewinnerin des Jubiläumspreises des Böhlau Verlages Wien ist MMag. Dr. Doris Gruber (Senior Scientist, Fachbereich Geschichte), welche sich den Preis mit Eva Zehentner teilt.
    Im Rahmen des Masterstudiums Literatur- und Kulturwissenschaft wird im SS unter der Leitung von Prof. Eva Hausbacher und Prof. Susanne Winter die Ringvorlesung „Kanonische Texte von Frauen“ durchgeführt. Die Vorträge werden von den Lehrenden des Schwerpunktfachs Komparatistik gehalten. Sie stellen in exemplarischer Weise Hauptwerke kanonisierter Autorinnen verschiedener Literaturen vor und konfrontieren diese mit Fragen der Kanonbildung und Kanonkritik.

Dr. Wolfgang Görtschacher gemeinsam mit Prof. David Malcolm von der SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warschau informieren zu dürfen.
    Die Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften hat Mag. Dr. Daniel Ehrmann, Universitätsassistent und Promovent am Fachbereich Germanistik, ein vierjähriges APART-Stipendium zuerkannt, das er am 1. 3. 2021 antreten wird. Er wird in dieser Zeit sein Habilitationsprojekt „Aggregation. Relationalität und die Konstellationen der Literatur (1650 – 1950). Für ein literarhistorisches Modell mittlerer Reichweite“ bearbeiten.
