    Durch einstimmigen Jurybeschluss wurde Ass. Prof. MMag. Dr. Jörg Paetzold mit dem Hanns Abele Preis der WU Wien für die beste Doktorarbeit der letzten fünf Jahre aus dem Bereich "wissenschaftliche Grundlagen der Wirtschaftspolitik" ausgezeichnet.
    Wissenschaftler der Uni Salzburg haben die internationalen Auswirkungen eines Brexit-Schocks auf ausgewählte Mitgliedstaaten der Eurozone und Großbritannien untersucht.
    Am 6.2. wurde Prof. DDr. DDr.h.c. J. Michael Rainer, Fachbereich Privatrecht, Dekan der Rechtswissenschaftlichen Fakultät, in Madrid in Anwesenheit des österreichischen Botschafters Mag. Christian Ebner der Preis „Ursicinio Alvarez“ des Spanischen Notariates für seine Verdienste um das Römische Recht verliehen.
    Auch dieses Jahr organisiert das WissensNetzwerk Recht, Wirtschaft und Arbeitswelt gemeinsam mit dem Wiener Zentrum für Rechtsinformatik (WZRI) der Universität Wien die mittlerweile größte und bedeutendste wissenschaftliche Tagung in Österreich und Mitteleuropa auf dem Gebiet der Rechtsinformatik: das Internationale Rechtsinformatik Symposion IRIS.
