Lena Ramstetter is a PhD fellow in the area of Comparative Politics at the Department of Political Science and Sociology at the University of Salzburg. She completed her Master’s degree in Political Science in 2017 at the University of Salzburg. Her Master’s Thesis "Gendered Choices? Tracing Gender Gaps in the Attitudes and Actions of Members of the European Parliament" shed light on gendered differences between representatives with regard to policy-specific attitudes and voting behavior in parliament. In the context of other projects, she focused on democratic transition processes with a special interest in post-conflict circumstances. In addition to the above-mentioned fields, her research interests include political psychology.
