Graduation and Doctorate Award Ceremonies Summer 21
IMPORTANT: No further applications can be accepted until the large auditorium (Universitätsaula) can officially be re-opened. Graduates who have already registered will be informed about further procedures.
All graduation and doctorate award ceremonies have been cancelled up until and including March 2021. In order to avoid misunderstandings, we would like to clarify that regardless of the cancellation of the ceremony, study programs can be completed as usual. The completion of the study program is documented and legally binding once the Examination Offices have issued the Notification about the Award of the academic degree.
The following graduation and doctorate award ceremony dates for the summer semester 2021 have been set (location: Universitätsaula, Max-Reinhardt-Platz):
Wednesday 10 March 2021, 11.15 a.m. CANCELLED
Wednesday 14 April 2021, 11.15 a.m.
(except Faculty of Catholic Theology)
Wednesday 12 May 2021, 11.15 a.m.
Wednesday 02 June 2021, 11.15 a.m.
(except Faculty of Catholic Theology)
Wednesday 23 June 2021, 11.15 a.m
Graduates are requested to arrive punctually for the rehearsal at 09:45 a.m. in the Universitätsaula, Max-Reinhardt-Platz. Registrations for degree ceremonies are accepted in the Admissions Office (registration form). Please note that no more than 45 registrations can be accepted for each date; those who have not registered at least two weeks before the desired date or who are not amongst the permitted number of registrations must be deferred until the next date. Guest seats are limited to 5 per graduate and will be allocated accordingly. Applications for guest seats are to be sent to the Department of Communication and Fundraising.
