With a special focus on materials research, the University of Salzburg disposes of a series of fully-equipped measuring laboratories and offers companies the chance to use their state-of-the-art instruments and techniques for individual research purposes and custom product development. High-Performance Computing

By joining a research cooperation with the University of Salzburg, companies get the chance to use the university’s state-of-the-art high-performance computing system “Doppler”, allowing for precise simulations of technical procedures and targeted optimization of business processes.

“Innovation Cheque” for companies

The Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) offers various types of research funding. For instance, consultancy services by research institutions are funded with up to € 5,000 (without a deductible).

    The Salzburg Armenologist, Jasmine Dum-Tragut, opens the first exhibition on 31 August, 2019, at the Genocide Museum in Yerevan. The exhibition shows the fate of Armenian prisoners of war in the Austrian prison camps during the First World War.
    Democracy and the rule of law seem to have experienced better times in Europe. The recent developments in many countries point to a dismantling of the rule of law, fundamental rights and democracy.
