Tuition fees at the University of Salzburg: short information

International Exchange Students

International students who study at the University of Salzburg within the framework of a mobility programme (e.g. Erasmus+, Joint Study, ISEP, CEEPUS etc.) do not pay tuition fees if their stay is longer than four weeks (excluding holidays). However, the payment of the Austrian Student Union membership fee of € 19,70 per semester is required. Attention: in order to be fully registered and enrolled at the University of Salzburg the Austrian Student Union membership fee must be paid at the beginning of each semester.
