The Carrer Center is here to support students, as well as graduates, on their way from being a student up to the point they enter the labour market:

FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF COMPETENCES:

  • Workshops – gain Soft Skills in separate courses and enhance your personal abilities and skills within your field of interest 
  • Additional courses (Studienergänzung) “Initiative Karrieregestaltung” – courses can be acknowledged as additional or optional subjects – depending on your curriculum


EVENTS AND EXHIBITIONS:

  • Information- and networking events – provide the opportunity to meet potential employers face to face. You get to know the different tips and tricks to simplify your entry into the labour market.
  • Career exhibitions – you can meet companies who are interested in students of the different faculties ta YOUR University. e.g. “Treffpunkt Erfolg”; “Karrieretreff MINT” and “Karrieretreff WOMEN”: Information, topics for your diploma thesis, vacancies, internships, an extensive exhibition programme and free services like shooting a professional application photo.

    Which legal protection option - warranty or error - is more advantageous for buyers of the cars affected by the diesel exhaust scandal? Lawyer Christina Buchleitner has compared the two remedies in her dissertation at the University of Salzburg. Now the 26-year-old Viennese has won the first prize in the Young Investigators Award at the University of Salzburg.
    The Salzburg Armenologist, Jasmine Dum-Tragut, opens the first exhibition on 31 August, 2019, at the Genocide Museum in Yerevan. The exhibition shows the fate of Armenian prisoners of war in the Austrian prison camps during the First World War.
    Democracy and the rule of law seem to have experienced better times in Europe. The recent developments in many countries point to a dismantling of the rule of law, fundamental rights and democracy.
