Quo Vadis?

Academicization of Elementary Education in Austria

Als eines der letzten europäischen Länder startete Österreich im Jahr 2014 erstmals akademische Studiengänge zur Professionalisierung von Elementarpädagog/innen. Drei Jahre danach ist es an der Zeit, eine erste Bilanz zu ziehen:

WOHIN ENTWICKELT SICH DIE AKADEMISIERUNG DER ELEMENTARPÄDAGOGIK IN ÖSTERREICH?

Die Fachtagung an der Universität Salzburg will am 19. Mai 2017 einerseits mit internationalen Vortragenden einen Überblick über potenzielle Tätigkeitsfelder akademischen Personals in der elementarpädagogischen Praxis geben, sowie Kosten und Nutzen der Akademisierung der Elementarpädagogik diskutieren. Andererseits geben die ersten Absolvent/innen, sowie Studierenden der drei Studiengänge (Wien, Salzburg, Koblenz)* Einblicke in die Ergebnisse ihrer Forschungsprojekte.

Weitere 700 Tage nach der ersten Fachtagung „Wissenschaft trifft Praxis“ im Jahr 2015 laden wir zu einem vertiefenden Diskurs zwischen Lehrenden, Studierenden, Praktiker/innen, Bildungspolitiker/innen, Lehrer/innen und Schüler/innen der Bildungsanstalten für Elementarpädagogik (BAfEP) und Wissenschaftler/innen aus dem Bereich der Elementarpädagogik ein.

Die Universität Salzburg freut sich als Veranstalterin, diese Tagung gemeinsam mit der Plattform EduCare und der Sektion Elementarpädagogik der ÖFEB (Österreichische Gesellschaft für Forschung und Entwicklung im Bildungswesen) durchzuführen.

    Around 200 representatives from all Austrian universities and colleges met at the University of Salzburg to discuss developments in international cooperation.
