Science Prize for Markus Herbst

Recently, Markus Herbst, a member of the Department of Zoological Structural Research at the Department of Cell Biology & Physiology, awarded € 750 endowed by the "Fritz Grasenik Award" of the Austrian Society for Electron Microscopy (ASEM).

In a large-scale research project, Salzburg psychologists are investigating how emotions determine our eating behavior. A surprising result of the project, launched in 2015 and running until 2020, is that the number of people who eat more during stressful times is about the same as the number of people who eat less during stressful times.
