    The Salzburg sleep researcher, Manuel Schabus, from the Center for Cognitive Neurosciences at the University of Salzburg has long been concerned with the possible causes of poor or good sleep.
    How can up and coming teachers be better prepared for their future, and for the more complex tasks required of teachers? Which skills are central to good teaching? What are the new admission tests at universities? How do you motivate the best in your field to enter the teaching profession? And how can students be promoted more individually?
    Birgit Mitter will give a guest lecture on 23 March, 2018, at 14:00 in lecture hall 421 of the NW-Faculty on the subject "From the Lab to the Field - Endophyte Research at AIT Austrian Institute of Technology". The Department of Life Sciences invites you to attend!

    In a large-scale research project, Salzburg psychologists are investigating how emotions determine our eating behavior. A surprising result of the project, launched in 2015 and running until 2020, is that the number of people who eat more during stressful times is about the same as the number of people who eat less during stressful times.
    From 7 March 7 to 27 June, 2018, on Wednesdays, 18:00 – 19:30, the lecture series "Enlightenment and Counter-Enlightenment: Religious Polemic Against Art - Artistic Polemics Against Religion" will take place in the Unipark Nonntal with lecturers from different disciplines.
