That Was the KinderUNI Unterwegs

Already for the second time, the >KinderUNI unterwegs< traveled with concentrated expertise to the Pongau region: around 360 children-students were guests at Schloss Tandalier in Radstadt. On 2 & 3 May, 2019, the University of Salzburg together with akzente Salzburg, the Regionalverband and the KLAR! Region Pongau, the LAG Lebens.Wert.Pongau, the Kompass Mädchenberatung, and the Verein Architektur - Technik + Schule offered a colorful and free Program.

Diplome statt Luftschlösser

Barrierefreiheit: Kurzbeschreibung des BildesVor malerischer Bergkulisse und in einem außergewöhnlichem Schlossambiente sorgten rund 40 Mitwirkende für einen reibungslosen Ablauf und spannende Wissenschaftseindrücke. Nach fleißigem Sammeln von Stempeln im Studienpass wartete das KinderUNI-Diplom. Zum Schwerpunkt Klima konnten auch die junge Kinderprofessorinnen Sarah Seer & Jessica Maurer sowie Anika & Luisa Dafert Wissenswertes beitragen. Die Workshops der Jungen UNI haben produktive Ergebnisse gezeitigt (s.u.). Das vollständige Programm mit allen Beteiligten ist hier nachzulesen.

Barrierefreiheit: Kurzbeschreibung des BildesHier können Sie die Radiosendung zum Workshop "Klimafacts und Fake News. Radiosendung gegen den Weltuntergang?" mit Carla Stenitzer, MA und Mag. Franz Unterholzner im Rahmen der Jungen UNI unterwegs NACHHÖREN.

David und Julius erklären uns sehr bildhaft und eingängig, wie der Treibhauseffekt funktioniert. Julian und Dominik entführen uns in eine Welt, in der der Klimawandel bereits stattgefunden hat und konfrontieren uns mit den Folgen. Dass der Klimawandel weitreichendere Folgen hat, als man auf den ersten Blick glauben mag, vermitteln uns Franz, Michi, Andi, Lukas und Martin. Sie klären uns auf, welchen Zusammenhang Klima und Krieg haben. Durch die Sendung führen uns eloquent und voller Elan Leo und Zeb.

    On Tuesday, 22 October, 2019, the Salzburg Congress will host the Career Forum, the big job fair of the Salzburger Nachrichten, with a workshop program. For the 13th time, the University of Salzburg has partnered with Salzburg's largest career platform.
    On 22 October, 2019, 17:00 - 20:00, the conference "Erosion of the Rule of Law" takes place in the Europasaal on the Edmundsburg. Democracy, the rule of law and respect for human rights are among the pillars of the European order. In recent years, however, these values have come under increasing pressure in some countries.
    At the 122nd Annual Meeting in Paderborn, the Salzburg educational scientist, Sabine Seichter, was elected to the board of the interdisciplinary and international Görres-Gesellschaft.
    "The Paris-Lodron-University Salzburg sincerely congratulates its honorary doctor, Peter Handke, on the award of the Nobel Prize for Literature 2019", emphasizes Rector Hendrik Lehnert.
