Battery Research at the University of Salzburg

The battery researchers from the Department of Chemistry and Physics of the Materials of PLUS congratulate and rejoice with the three freshly curated Nobel Laureates John B. Goodenough, M. Stanley Whittingham, and Akira Yoshino!

· Hydrothermal vanadium manganese oxides: Anode and cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries, https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jpowsour.2015.04.156 .
· High Surface Area Crystalline Titanium Dioxide: Potential and Limits in Electrochemical Energy Storage and Catalysis, https://doi.org/10.1039/C2CS35013K .
· Defect and Surface Area Control in Hydrothermally Synthesized LiMn0.8Fe0.2PO4 Using a Phosphate Based Structure Directing Agent, https://doi.org/10.1021/acs.cgd.5b00324 .
· Untangling the Structure and Dynamics of Lithium-Rich Anti-Perovskites Envisaged as Solid Electrolytes for Batteries, https://doi.org/10.1021/acs.chemmater.8b02568 .

During the time of Corona, in particular, it became clear just how important it is to support students digitally in their every day university life. The project „On Track“ – stay on track combines digital and social worlds. It is starting at the right time!
You want to start a teaching degree at the University of Salzburg and are considering choosing one ( or even two) Romance language(s) but you have some questions, uncertainties or doubts about the possibilities and the university level education in the Department of Fachbereich Romance Studies?
150 participants have already taken the opportunity to register for more than 50 courses on IT and digitialisation at the ditact_women's IT summer studies at the University of Salzburg, which will take place from the 01.09.-12.09.2020.Registration is still possible until the 12. July and then the remaining places will be taken as last minute reservations.
