Ein Konzert zum 50.Todestag von Itzik Manger (1901-1969).

Der Schriftsteller Itzik Manger schrieb in jiddischer Sprache. Er trug seine Werke so eindringlich vor, dass er gar „Prinz der jiddischen Ballade“ genannt wurde.
Die schönsten jiddischen und sefardischen Lieder, jiddischer Tango, Klezmer, Werke von Marwan Abado & Simone Pergmann, Gedichte (Jiddisch-Deutsch) von Itzik Manger.
Special guest: Armin Eidherr - Rezitation/Jiddisch

    Salzburg biologists Anja Hörger and Stephanie Socher receive 150,000 Euros in funding for their courageous project idea within the framework of the new “1000 ideas program” from the Austrian Science Fund FWF. Over the next two years the young scientists “Immortal Titans”, will analyze the huge genome of the Titan Arum, the largest flower in the world. The “1000 Ideas Programme” is intended to support high-risk research in order to increase Austria's innovative strength.
