Die Atelier Gespräche sind transdisziplinäre Vorlesungen an der Universität Salzburg und vernetzen Forschung mit künstlerischer Praxis und Kulturarbeit. Als universitäres Kulturvermittlungsprogramm für Studierende und eine breite Öffentlichkeit laden sie im Wintersemester 2020/21 wieder zu spannenden Live-Begegnungen ein, ergänzt um digitale Beiträge und Blogs. Aufgrund der beschränkten Platzanzahl infolge geltender Covid-19 Bestimmungen können ausnahmslos Anmeldungen per Telefon oder E-Mail berücksichtigt werden.     Never before have so many forensic patients been accommodated in Austria as of the effective date of 1st October 2020. Relief from the enforcement of the measures and also the treatment of seriously abnormal lawbreakers, is urgently required and unavoidable.
    The Chinese Studies Center is organizing an online symposium on this topic on the 12th and 13th November 2020. People with visible Asian origins are being exposed to increased discrimination in Europe and the USA - especially since COVID19. But what is behind this fear and how can this form of racism be combated effectively?

    The Faculty of Slavic Studies, the cultural centre DAS KINO and the Russian Centre invite you to the fifth series of cinema films from Eastern and Central Europe. As part of the film club „Slawistyka, Slavistika, Cлавистика“ award winning current Polish, Russian and Czech films with political and social themes will be shown.
    Applications for two dissertation prizes (worth 2,000 euros each) can be made until the 31st October.
    During the time of Corona, in particular, it became clear just how important it is to support students digitally in their every day university life. The project „On Track“ – stay on track combines digital and social worlds. It is starting at the right time!
